Después "la casa fue creciendo como los árboles, como la gente", y se llenó de presencias, amigos y la mas maravillosa variedad de objetos que Pablo coleccionaba: caracolas marinas, mascarones de proa, máscaras, pequeños barcos, botellas .......
En esa casa escribió muchos de sus poemas.
Hoy la casa pertenece a la Fundación Pablo Neruda, y es junto a La Chascona en Santiago y
La Sebastiana en Valparaíso, una de las casas museo del poeta, que pueden visitarse.
Quienes lleguen a Valparaíso, podrán hacerlo en una tarde ....... vale la pena.
